‘1000 Faces’ was commissioned to show the vast metropolis of diversity that is the city Birmingham. Using controlled lighting to light 1000 portraits in exactly the same way the main aim was to show a variety of people alongside each other representing how the various ethnicities all living together in relative harmony in one city.
